As an individual living with Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years I bring to my work a personal passion, life experience, a professional education in my field, and a unique perspective. I understand the challenges and opportunities of living with Type 1 Diabetes and since the dis-ease manifested itself in my 24th year of life I also understand what it feels like to live life a certain way and then have to change not only your lifestyle but also your perspective.
At Hip Yoga I specialize in private instruction. All private students begin with a comprehensive Wellness Consultation so that we can address their specific health and wellness needs and tailor a truly customized program of active yoga, fitness training, exercise rehab, meditation/relaxation techniques or gentle restorative yoga therapy.
